Immigration attorney Mai Neng Moua taught a compelling CLE on the basics of immigration law that was geared towards questions/concerns regarding this administration’s new policies. The CLE was well attended and very educational!

HABA and MN 18 Clan Council collaborated to start our first community CLE regarding gun rights and collateral consequences. Thank you to the panelists, Mai Neng Moua, Esq., and Chong Lo., Esq. There were many great questions and a thoughtful discussion on gun ownership.

Despite the heavy rain and traffic, folks managed to get to Hmong Village to listen to our distinguished speakers discuss courtroom decorum, Rule 20, and specialty courts in Minnesota. Attendees had thoughtful questions about how to address a retired judge, the frustrations with Rule 20, and qualifications for specialty courts in Ramsey County. Attendees had a wonderful opportunity to mingle and learn from many years of experience.
